Groningen post image

Last week IDENTIKIT played in Groningen in the north of Holland. Here’s a great picture made by Willem Schwertmann.

This year has been a fantastic and very busy year for me. I decided to take a lot on my hands concerning my latest release ‘Garage Moi‘, from producing it to releasing it, from writing and arranging to distributing it, but it paid off.
Garage Moi‘ received a 5-star (*****) review in Het Parool, numerous 4-star (****) reviews (a.o. in Jazzism, Trouw, Volkskrant), it was selected as one of the best albums of 2013 in Japan and reached the Top 10 Jazz list of the best record store in Holland.

All the hard work surrounding this album has paid off already and I’m really proud of it. I hope 2014 can get us even further with this music, which could not have ‘happened’ without my unbelievably talented band members Lars Dietrich, Jasper Blom, Sean Fasciani and Kristijan Krajncan, I owe them a lot.

So here’s to hard work and to believing in music. I’ll leave you with a great article about this, be sure to read this!

Happy Holidays and have a terrific 2014!
